Students at Lafayette Charter School
participate in the SPARK Physical Education program for 30 minutes of PE
each day. This program is designed to encourage maximum participation
during class time. We believe that active participation and practice
are the means for improving students' fitness, skills and enjoyment.
The curriculum is designed to take best advantage of developmentally
appropriate activities. SPARK emphasizes health-related fitness
activities along with offering traditional physical education outcomes.
Included are the goals of attaining motor skills, knowledge and social
values.
